How to Use the Jasmine Artificial Vertical Garden Panel?
While there are a million and one ways you can use a faux green wall, especially one as versatile as the Jasmine, we’ll share with you our clients’ top 3 ideas:
Screen Off Unsightly Areas
No one likes seeing clutter strewn about, regardless of whether it’s at home or outside. Yet, while you can pick up the clutter in your home, you may not be able to do the same for your garden. If your outdoor space has utility boxes, AC units, storage areas, or tool sheds that look worse for wear, there are creative solutions to cover them.
Using the Jasmine Artificial Green Wall is a good way to hide these unsightly (but necessary) elements. For example, you can cover your utility boxes or AC units with panels and camouflage them. Or, you can hang Jasmine panels on a tool shed or another unattractive structure and conceal the chipped paint and cracks.
Since the panels are easy to install and customize, you can cut them to ensure they fit your space by joining the panels together and trimming off any excess.
Create Nice Barriers
A Jasmine Artificial Vertical Garden can be the functional and attractive barrier your space needs. It’s a useful option for both residential and commercial properties.
For residences, you can block nosy neighbors’ views into your yard and add some privacy back into your outdoor lounging. Do this by arranging the panels to form a natural green barrier on a fence separating you from your neighbor. This is much better (and less intrusive) than erecting a whole wall. Thanks to the dense foliage, your neighbor would have a much harder time snooping.
For commercial spaces, teams can manage crowds at venues or hotels by using green panels as good-looking barriers. Instead of tying plain, ugly ropes or constructing metal barricades, you can guide people in an orderly manner by using a refreshing multifunctional element. We don’t know about you, but we’d much rather look at greenery than steel slabs.
Make a Portable Wall
As mentioned before, a standout feature of our Jasmine panel is its versatility. Since it’s so adaptable, you don’t need to restrict its use to permanent structures, i.e. just one wall in your garden.
Instead, consider creating a portable green wall you can move as your needs change. This is a solution we’ve recently begun doing for clients who can’t have any damage to their fences during installation. To do this, you’ll need a backing to attach the panels so they stay upright. This is particularly useful if you need a temporary divider or would like to move your decor around eventually.
For example, the client we’ll talk about below created a portable green wall by building a wooden backing for the panels and putting them flush against the fence. No drilling, no damage, no consequences.
How Clients Use Our Jasmine Artificial Green Wall Panels
Recently, our Jasmine Artificial Green Wall was part of a big installation at a mountain resort in Montana.
The resort staff had their eyes set on an area near the entrance that they thought lacked personality. Since this is a new resort, most of the decor still holds up very well and there weren’t many areas due for a upgrade.
But the wall next to the door was looking a bit lackluster. While it wasn’t ugly, the staff thought it could be much, much better.
So, they decided to include artificial greenery to brighten it up.
Since the resort sits atop a mountain, it gets regular (and heavy) snow, so real green walls were out of the question as many types of plants wouldn’t survive. In turn, this means that real greenery may end up costing them more money as it would die following such intense exposure to cold temperatures.
That’s why the staff settled on our Jasmine faux vertical garden. It’s lush, has different shades of green, and looks realistic from afar and up close.
But the client wasn’t looking for just any simple installation. They had decided to break up the wall and include various textures - vegetation, wood, and stone. So they devised an idea to create a portable wall using imitation planter boxes. The client wanted to use wooden boards to make it look like they’ve got a real planter with a hedge growing from it.
First, they measured the surface they wanted to cover and determined the number of panels they’d need. While you can do this yourself manually, we have a panel calculator on each product page that does the math for you. Of course, you should use it as a guideline only, especially if the surface is oddly shaped or wonky.
Then, they sought the help of a team of builders to attach the Jasmine panels to a wooden base doubling as an imitation planter. The top of the board served as a surface for affixing the fauxliege, while the bottom resembled a planter.
The team also divided the display into a few sections using wooden boards, as shown here:
Finally, the installers attached the structures to the fence and the guests had something nice to look at while walking toward the door. Plus, it helps to know this installation won’t need replacing for at least 5 years and won’t take up any of the staff’s time for watering, trimming, or pruning.
