The Client Challenge

Like many medically-adjacent spaces, the Dental Association’s office had glass walls, tiled floors, and neutral finishes, which made it look cold and impersonal.

The employees had noticed this as well, and they were looking for a way to create a more calming and inviting atmosphere without adding the burden of upkeep.

Their solution needed to soften the environment and blend with the modern interiors. Instead of choosing cheap art like other similar commercial spaces, they went with an array of artificial greenery.

The Design Objective

From the first conversation with our design consultants and installers, the client was clear: they wanted a visual refresh without disrupting daily operations. Our Australian team worked alongside professional installers to plan a practical, fast, and effective transformation.

The Solution

First, we assessed photos and floorplants, talked through priorities with the client, and recommended a mix of artificial vertical gardens, ceiling-mounted faux hanging plants, and fake planted stems.

The goal was to improve the key focal points in the space, the corridors and the corners, while keeping the contemporary appearance of the original layout and without cluttering the room.

Installation Approach

We began by installing the Luxury Wild Tropics Artificial Vertical Garden along the hallway leading to the restrooms. Our team suggested these panels because they seemed like the perfect contrast to the cold, blank walls. The greenery reinvigorated the energy in the corridor and elevated it beyond a simple pass-through zone.

Next, we addressed the forgotten wall-mounted TV by placing a black hanging planter directly above it and anchoring it to the ceiling. We filled it with the Artificial Veined Hanging Plant, which now drapes softly downward. This addition, although small, turned a dead zone into a new focal point.

Finally, our team used a mix of planted artificial plants, including the Artificial Monstera Stem, to bring the planters near the windows to life. We “planted” the stems into topsoil to mimic real plants.

The Result

What was once a cold, regular office now looked fresh and welcoming. The faux green wall draws visitors and employees down the hallway, while the hanging planter hides the once-distracting TV. The fake planted stems tie the space together and bring forth a subtle detail for the design.
