Before Our Collaboration
Sometimes, projects don’t start with a blank canvas, but a bare concrete wall that gets a little too hard to ignore.
This was the case recently when a property management business in sunny California reached out to us for advice and a consultation. Right at the entrance of their building stood a tall, curved concrete retaining wall topped with a black metal railing.
It was a functional design, but far from appealing or welcoming. The wall was visible from the driveway and the parking lot and was the first thing potential clients saw upon arrival.
The property management team thought the wall had done its job thus far, but they were now looking for something better: a natural touch.
The Problem
Despite the well-maintained property and palm-lined surroundings, this dull barrier disrupted the curb appeal and didn’t align with the polished image the business wanted to display. The area behind it added to the utilitarian feel and completely removed any inkling of a warm but professional first impression.
After deciding they needed to include more greenery, they brainstormed ways to do that without burdening any of their employees with round-the-clock maintenance like watering, trimming, and cleaning dead leaves.
So, after a quick Google search, they found the right solution: an artificial green wall from our online store. The client then came to us with their vision and explained that they wanted something durable, low-maintenance, and impactful, but not too busy.
That’s when we got to work.
During the Process
Once we connected with the client, we could tell they were ready to make a change and had a clear vision.
They were tired of the stark wall that greeted visitors and wanted something fresh, professional, and easy to maintain. After talking with the team for some time, we suggested they use our Jasmine Artificial Green Wall because it was all-green but lush enough to capture the attention of passers-by.
During our initial conversation, we focused on understanding the limitations of the space (like its curvature and exposure to direct sunlight) and the overall look they hoped to achieve. The Solution
